Christmas is coming to Fenwick, and we have exciting opportunities for Warehouse Operators to join the team in our Killingworth Distribution Centre and support us through our peak trading period.
We are on an exciting journey of transformation at Killingworth, and there will be the opportunity for this role to become permanent within the next 6 months. There will also be the opportunity to transfer across to our Newcastle flagship store and work with us in other available roles across the next few months. About the role
As a Warehouse Operator you will be key in supporting the smooth running of our warehouse operation across receiving, pricing and other warehousing routines.
You will work across all areas of our distribution centre and no two days will be the same. Our Warehouse Operators process orders, receipt orders, make sure our stores receive our fabulous products on time whilst ensuring it is priced, packaged, and maintained to the highest of standards.
What we are looking for in a candidate…
- A passion for working in a logistics environment and the desire to learn and be part of a dynamic and driven team - Essential.
- Previous work experience in a warehouse/logistics environment – Desirable.
- Previous experience with working with warehouse management systems – Desirable.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety
- A flexible and energetic approach to work
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
You will be invited to one of our Get to know Fenwick Experience Days in August to gain a valuable insight into the role and our business and we won’t keep you waiting, we are committed to providing you feedback within 48 hours of your interview as whether you have or haven’t been successful.
We have contracts available starting from August and you will start with us as soon as possible. All contracts will require you to be flexible and work to a rota that includes evening and weekend shifts on rotations from Monday to Sunday.
Shift patterns are 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm. Weekend shifts are available working Saturday and Sunday 8am - 4.00pm
