Customer Service Apprentice

Psychology Experts is a growing company that works with legal professionals to identify the right expert witness psychologist for their cases.

About the Role

We are looking for someone passionate about customer service and has an interest in psychology and the law. You will be working with psychologists across diverse areas of the law including criminal psychology, child protection and educational assessments to produce legal reports.

You will be responsible for taking inbound enquiries, reaching out to lawyers about their enquiries, liaising with expert witnesses, and proofreading expert reports. You should be confident in talking to customers by phone and email but also able to develop your digital skills.

In 2 months - You will be familiar with the use of a digital services including CRM, developing skills for your long-term career.

In 6 months - You will be an integral part of the team, using both inbound and outbound customer service strategies and contribute to developing strategies to smooth end-to-end customer journey.

In 12 months - You will be skilled in a broad range of digital customer service tools, experienced in both customer service and sales techniques with substantial experience to build your career development.

You will need to be able to:

  • Work closely with our customer service team to provide excellent customer service.
  • Independently use digital customer service systems (CRM)
  • Have a high level of literacy to proof-read expert reports with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy of reports sent to legal parties.
  • Speak confidently with lawyers to help them find the right expert witness for their cases.
  • Feedback customer issues and behaviour to our cross-functional management team meetings.
  • Work confidentially with sensitive and at times distressing information.

About You

We are looking for an energetic individual willing to work in a small cross-functional team. You will need to be both people focused with an ability to engage people, but also technically minded with a clear vision for customer service systems.

You will need:

  • A passion for customer services
  • An engaging and confident telephone manner
  • Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A high level of written English language
  • Technical ability to learn to use the CRM system (Zoho)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Good attention to detail
  • Organisational skills
  • To be able to work independently and creatively
