Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Commis Waiter to join The Vineyard Restaurant on a full time, permanent contract, working 45 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days. As a 365 day business you may be required to work evenings / weekends / bank holidays.
Summary of role:
To assist the Restaurant team with ensuring the smooth running of The Vineyard Restaurant, while providing a warm and professional service to our guests.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist the restaurant team in the preparation of the restaurant and back of house areas ready for service.
Delivering food and beverage from the kitchen to the restaurant stations or to members of the restaurant team.
Assist our restaurant team with the preparation and polishing of plates and cutlery for service, along with condiments and other service wear.
Ensuring all opening and closing duties are adhered to.
Support the restaurant team to ensure the best level of service is provided to our guests.
Be available to assist in other departments when other duties permit.
To attend & complete all training assigned to you.
Any other reasonable request.
About You
We are looking for a Commis Waiter, who is dedicated, hardworking, polite, a team player and customer focused.
Full training will be provided.
