The Company:
Talisker Bay International is a family business, focussed on manufacturing high quality animal feeds for local and international markets. We are looking for full time staff to join our professional and friendly production team.
Applicants must be able to work consistently to a high standard of quality.
The Role:
- A variety of tasks in the warehouse and production facility: from packaging orders to producing our range of horse treats and toys.
- Work as part of a team.
- Tasks are physical and repetitive.
- 10 hour shift on 4-day week (Mon-Thu). Occasional overtime on Fridays paid at time +1/4.
Training:
- Production Assistant - first months will be spent training, and understanding the unique processes.
- Production Operator - you will be working alongside the production team producing finished products for international and domestic orders.
- Advanced training is available to those who show ability and interest
- Training will be provided by our experienced Team Leaders
- Also provided are Forklift Operator Training, First Aid Training and Fire Marshall Training.
Applicant requirements:
- Physically fit
- Can work as part of a close team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to learn and follow set procedure
- To ensure good housekeeping is maintained
- To be aware of all aspects of Health & Safety
- To be at work in Kirkmichael ready to start the shift at 0600
