Manning's Bakers is a family run, high quality, craft bakers in Waterfoot and has been established since 1947. We have a chain of shops supplying bakery goods and cakes.
We are looking to recruit a bakery assistant to work alongside a small but committed team in Waterfoot.
The role will include, prepping food items, picking and packing orders, assisting with baking/mixes, cleaning. Room to learn more on the baking side if the successful candidate is willing.
Job Type: Permanent – Alternate 5 days one week & 6 days the next .
5:30am - 2:00pm Mon-Fri / Alternate Saturdays 4:00am-8am
Experience: In a similar previous role is preferred but not essential.
Your duties will include:
- Prepping food items
- Picking and packing items to go out to our 9 shops
- Helping with production of a varied range of bakery products
- Ensuring all produce is checked for quality
- Ensuring you operate with your own and your colleagues Health & Safety in mind
- The role will include heavy lifting
You will need:
- Pride in presentation of packed goods ensuring no items are damaged
